Miss Amy & Her Big Kids BandTM helped to fundraise at the March of Dimes Rangeela 2006 event held on June 10th in Plainsboro, NJ.  The March of Dimes' fundraising campaign is to identify the causes for premature births, a rising national health issue.  The Kalanji School dancers who preceded Miss Amy's performance were an exceptional visual treat!

In this performance, Miss Amy told of her experience of having her
premature born son, Phillip (click "Why I Sing" for details).  Miss Amy was mission spokesperson for this event and is an ongoing fundraiser!

For their finalé, Miss Amy's son Phillip, born premature at 29 1/2 weeks, now 10 years old and healthy thanks in large part to the March of Dimes, also performed with the band playing trumpet.

Miss Amy and her son are presented with commemorations following the performance!
