3 LITTLE PIGGIES - by Amy Skelton Otey  © 2004

OINK!

Well there were three little piggies getting out on their own
each one said, "I can build my own home"
Mama said, "you gotta Make a good try, but you
better watch out if that wolf comes by."

The wolf, the wolf, the wooooo -oolf!

I.
See the first little brother heeded the call and he
built a quick house outta mud and straw, But that
mean old wolf came by one night and that
sorry straw house couldn't put up a fight.

CHORUS:
Yeah he huffed, and puffed and blew the house down. (I said)
he huffed, and puffed and blew the house down. (I said)
he huffed, and puffed and blew the house down. - OINK

II.
And the second little brother, a drummer by trade, he
built his house outta sticks instead. But that
mean old wolf came by one moonlit night, and the
second little house didn't put up a fight.

CHORUS

III.
The third brother piggy did a smart little trick. He
built his house outta mortar and brick. The
wolf came by expecting easy prey. Yeah he
stood outside the house and this is what he said. He said,

CHORUS

IV.
Listen up now! - With all that huffing and puffing going on yeah
Those three little piggies they went out on the roof.
"Oink Oink yeah", they shouted down to that wolf,
"You can huff all you want, you can puff all you care, but you
won't singe a bit of our chinny chin hair cause!

It's a brick house, it's mighty mighty - it's where those piggies hang out!

OINK!

Yeah, last I heard that wolf had a new gig, something about - Grandma
and the hood. Yeah, he better watch out for Grandma you know
- she's a wise old bird.
